In fact, after changing the value to zero hit the Windows Key and you’ll see the difference. HKEY_CURRENT _USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalizeįrom there, double click on EnableTransparency and change its value from 1 to 0 and click OK. Increase Windows 10 Start Menu Transparencyįirst, use the keyboard shortcut Windows Key + R and type: regedit and hit Enter or click OK. ![]() Also, you will need to have Administrator rights to change any of the registry key values. ![]() Before making any changes make sure to back up the Registry or create a Restore Point before making any changes. ![]() Note: This requires tweaking some values in the Registry and isn’t for the faint of heart.
